Nicaragua is the largest country on the Central American isthmus where it is sandwiched between Honduras to the north and Costa Rica to the south. It has dramatic scenery comprising of volcanoes, lakes, and beaches on both the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean coasts. It only has a population of just over 6 million which explains why so few TEFL jobs appear. Those jobs that do appear tend to be voluntary positions, but occasionally paid positions do appear which are usually located in the capital, Managua. You should check which vaccinations you might need if you are going to live in the country.
