Teaching English in FinlandBack to Tefl World

Finland is a Scandinavian country in northern Europe which borders Russia, Sweden, and Norway, with a coastline on the Baltic Sea.  “The land of a thousand lakes” actually has 187,888 bodies of water – one for every 26 of its citizens.  Finland’s excellent standard of education has resulted in a population with a high level of language proficiency, 63% have English fluency, which helps explain why there’s a dearth of TEFL ads for this friendly and interesting country.   If you are looking for a TEFL position in Finland, then you might try sending one of its educational institutions a prospective CV and covering letter asking about career opportunities.
