Bolivia is a Spanish-speaking landlocked country in central South America.  It has a varied landscape with deserts, Amazonian rainforests, and rugged Andean mountains.  TEFL positions don’t come up very often, but when they do they are usually located in the world’s highest capital, La Paz, or as volunteers throughout the country.  TEFL teachers usually earn a competitive local salary which is sufficient to live modestly in Bolivia.
