Teaching English in AngolaBack to Tefl World

Angola is a southern African nation whose Saharan deserts stretch west ending in tropical Atlantic beaches.  The country has a 24.3 million population whose lingua franca is Portuguese.  Angola is an oil rich country which requires English teachers for its oil refineries and rigs.  At the moment, these TEFL positions are rarely advertised, when they are, they usually require a teacher with experience living in similar conditions.  The Angolan oil boom hasn’t reached its peak, so hopefully more and more TEFL posts will appear in the future.  You should check which vaccinations you might need if you are going to live in Angola.
