Teaching English in UgandaBack to Tefl World

Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa with a diverse landscape: from its shoreline on Lake Victoria the land climbs up to misty mountains.  Even though English is an official language, along with Swahili, there are voluntary and paid TEFL positions advertised throughout the year for this beautiful country.   If you are looking for a TEFL position in Uganda, then you might try sending one of the schools or NGOs a prospective CV and covering letter asking about career opportunities. Remember to have the full list of vaccinations which are needed for Uganda – the rabies vaccination sometimes needs a course of injections which require up to a month to complete before you depart for the country.
