Teaching English in SwedenBack to Tefl World

Sweden is a vast Scandinavian country which borders Finland to the east, and Norway to the west and north.  In terms of GDP it has the 7th strongest economy in the world.  The trade links which have helped Sweden achieve this state, along with strong ties with America, its people’s enthusiasm for overseas travel, and subtitling TV programmes rather than dubbing them have led to 89% of the population being able to speak English.  Therefore it’s not surprising that TEFL positions are rarely advertised overseas.  If you are looking for a TEFL position in this fascinating country, then you might try sending one of its educational institutions a prospective CV and covering letter asking about career opportunities.
