Teaching English in SeychellesBack to Tefl World

The Seychelles is a beautiful group of 115 islands off the coast of East Africa.  It has a similar appeal to the Maldives which draws thousands of honeymooning couples every year who flock to bask in the wonderful climate and enjoy the idyllic beach scenes. Unlike the Maldives, TEFL positions don’t seem to be advertised for this archipelago.  It has a population of 93,000 which is the smallest of any African nation and might explain why there’s a dearth of TEFL positions advertised for the islands.  If you are looking for a TEFL position in the Seychelles, then you might try sending one of the hotels or schools a prospective CV and covering letter asking about career opportunities.  You should check which vaccinations you might need if you are going to live on the islands.
