It’s hard to think of Monaco without visualising celebrities being pictured at casinos, in fast cars, or reclining on super yachts in the picturesque harbour on the French Riviera. The French-speaking principality has been a favourite destination for the super rich and famous since the late 19th century when its first casino opened, the Monte Carlo, and the railway line from Paris was completed. It now has the highest ratio of millionaires and billionaires per capita in the world – it has a population of almost 38,000. It’s fair to assume that TEFL positions are few and far between, but there is an English-language school in Monaco which specializes in business education – nothing ventured, nothing gained!
