Teaching English in MaldivesBack to Tefl World

The Maldives is often associated with honey-mooning couples drawn by the beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets over idyllic beach scenes.  The good news for TEFL teachers is that every now and again teaching jobs are advertised by hotels and colleges on the Maldives.  It’s one of the world’s most geographically dispersed countries – its 394,000-population is spread over 26 coral atolls which form the tropical Indian Ocean nation.  Teachers have loved working with the friendly locals, the main issue seems to be that, as it is a destination for couples, it can leave you feeling isolated.
