Teaching English in MadagascarBack to Tefl World

Madagascar is a big island off the south-eastern coast of Africa.  It developed in isolation so that 90% of its animal species, such as various lemurs and chameleons,   are only found in Madagascar.  TEFL positions are rarely advertised for this fascinating country.  If you are a TEFL teacher with a bent for natural history, then Madagascar would offer you unique opportunities, and so you could send one of its educational institutions a prospective CV and covering letter asking about career opportunities.  Remember to have the full list of vaccinations which are needed for Madagascar – the rabies vaccination sometimes needs a course of injections which require up to a month to complete before you depart for the country.
