Teaching English in North KoreaBack to Tefl World

North Korea is a country on the Korean Peninsula, sandwiched between South Korea and China to the north.  It might surprise you to learn that there are actually TEFL positions advertised for this isolated socialist state:  the British Council has a language school in the capital, Pyongyang, which advertises for TEFL teachers every now and again.  If you are interested in working in this unique environment, you should contact the British Council.  You should consult your government’s foreign office for their advice on working in North Korea before you go.
