Teaching English in IndiaBack to Tefl World

India is a country in South Asia which reaches up to the Himalayas to the north and then occupies most of the Indian subcontinent which juts out like an arrow pointing south into the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal.  There are not many jobs for TEFL teachers in this, the world’s 2nd most populous country.  Those that do come up tend to be voluntary positions, but there are occasional job posts for positions at colleges, and the odd call-centre training role.  You should check which vaccinations you might need if you are going to live in the country.  There are over a million words in the English language, but there doesn’t seem to be one to describe the range of feelings you have after experiencing India – please let us know if you’ve discovered it!
