Teaching English in HaitiBack to Tefl World

Haiti lies on the western side of the island of Hispaniola which it shares with the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.  The French-speaking country has relied heavily on foreign aid which has been trying to help Haiti stand on its own feet.   The country was hit by a devastating earthquake in 2010 which brought further aid from all over the world; many of the NGOs and voluntary organisations are still there helping Haiti in every area including education, so if you are looking to teach there you could contact them.  Remember to check which vaccinations are needed for Grenada a couple of months before you depart for the island.
