El Salvador is a small Central American Spanish-speaking country on the Pacific coast. It has a population of 6.4 million, a tenth of whom live in the capital, San Salvador, which has a dramatic background of volcanic mountains. TEFL jobs are rarely advertised for El Salvador so if you are keen to find work there, it might be worth sending a prospective CV and covering letter to any of its educational institutions asking about career opportunities.
