Teaching English in CyprusBack to Tefl World

The island of Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean is divided into the Turkish north and the Greek south.  It has a 1.2 million Greek- and Turkish-speaking population.  When TEFL positions are advertised they are usually for one of the tertiary institutions on the island which have very attractive packages.   The relatively low-cost of living means that a TEFL teacher’s salary will provide a very comfortable standard of living.
