We have all been left stunned by the spread of the corona virus (COVID-19). While there appear to be positive reports of a decrease in new cases in South Korea and China, the rest of the world is bracing itself for difficult times.

Consequently, teflhub recommends following your government’s advice and in terms of teaching positions, checking the feasibility of taking on TEFL positions around
the world.

Many educational institutions have already begun distance learning (DL) programmes, so you may be able to work from home for schools overseas on these courses. It is likely that other institutions will branch into online teaching, providing more job opportunities for TEFL teachers until the global situation stabilises.  We at teflhub  understand that this growing situation affects a number of our teachers, schools, and universities around the world, and like any other responsible organisation we are reviewing the situation on a regular basis.

We shall continue to regularly check and follow guidance from the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as that of local government.
