HEALTHCARE
IN KOREA>
Healthcare
in Korea is good and at no point do you need to worry about the services
available. As part of your contract the school pays for 50% of your
medical insurance. You are responsible for the other 50%. This is
deducted from your pay and shows up on your pay slip. For information
of the Government run scheme

The cost of procedures are cheap and most doctors have some level of
English. There will be a clinic/hospital for foreigners in most large
cities. All clinics are referred to as hospitals, so you will hear your
Korean colleague saying they went to hospital because they were sick.
Pharmacies
are a common sight and usually the pharmacist will speak some English to
advise you of the prescription instructions.
