EATING OUT>
Whether it
is Korean food or something international there are many variation of
cuisines to choose from. Korean restaurants are cheap and the food is
delicious. You will have to get used taking your shoes of at the door
and sitting on the floor.
American
chains like Outback and TGIs are in most districts in the larger cities.
There is also no escaping McDonalds, KFCs, Burger Kings and Pizza Huts.
European style delis are springing up around Seoul. In Seoul and Busan
and other larger cities there is a great selection of restaurants
serving foods from around the world.
Itaewon is
Seoul's version of London's Soho and is the only cosmopolitan area in
the whole of Korea. It is where Seoul's expatriate community converge on
the weekends. Over the past few years Itaewon has been cleaned up
and there are some great authentic foreign food restaurants.
