DRINK IN KOREA>

Unlike other Asian nations Koreans love a drink. Licensing laws do not exist and bars never shut whilst a customer remains. The national drink is Soju. A mild spirit, about half the strength of vodka and tastes like it too. Beers are light and very refreshing.

Koreans have a different drinking culture that that in your home country. Drinks are always accompanied by food. So it can be considered rude if you do not order a little food with your drinks.

Green Tea is also a favoured beverage. It is different form Chinese and Japanese green tea and has a milder more pleasant taste. Visit a traditional tea house to sample a wide range of teas in a relaxing atmosphere.

Cider, not the alcoholic drink we know, but a lemonade soda drink is also popular.
