AGE GROUPS>

You have a choice of age groups to teach.

Kindergarten.  Children could be as young as 3 western age.  Most classes will be age 5 to 7. Classes begin at 9 or 10am and you will finish at around between 4 to 6pm

Kindergarten/Elementary.  You will teach kindergarten in the morning from 9 or 10am and then elementary in the afternoon/evening.  You will finish around 5 to 7pm.  This option offers a nice difference of ages and abilities, giving you diversity.

Elementary.  Hours are between 1 and 3pm until 8 or 9pm.  If you enjoy a lie in then this is a good option.

Elementary/Middle school.  You will most likely begin at 3 or 4 and finish later between 8 or 10pm

Middle School.  Classes begin at 3 or 4pm and go on until 10 or 11pm.  There are very few positions available for middle school and above.  They are usually preparing for exams and grammar is the focus.  Therefore taught by Korean teachers.

All contracts are 30 teaching hours maximum.  This means the number of hours actually teaching in the classroom.  This does not include preparation time for classes etc.  The times stated above are the time you should expect to be at school and not necessarily in the classroom.
